Why does the earth spin ?

Scotty in the VAR shed has just reviewed the earth spinning on its axis and he says it doesn't. It's an optical illusion. It's the fact every other thing in the universe is spinning that makes the earth look as though it's rotating.

His next assignment from PiGMOL is to debunk the myth that apples fall from a tree and hit the ground.

In rotational axis
Precession is a rotation of Earth's rotation axis, caused primarily by external torques from the gravity of the Sun, Moon and other bodies. The polar motion is primarily due to free core nutation and the Chandler wobble.

I think it's to do with all the toilets flushing.

It used to not spin, then man invented the toilet, and all that water going around the bowl caused a little 'push', which multiplied by the number of toilets caused the earth to start rotating at an ever increasing rate.

I think it's called coriolises force. Coriolis invented the toilet.

It won't ever get corrected until the same number of toilets exist in the Southern Hemisphere as the Northern Hemisphere.
