Why have we given Birmingham 1,700 tickets?

Should have given them just the top tier like Wigan.

Every home game will sell out now and we need all the support we can get in the run in.

that might be the top tier as away fans get about 2800

1700 is the bottom tier - 1100 the top.

The way it works is clubs are allowed to take 1700 or 2800 ( or 2846 to be precise ).

If they take 2846 then the away team has to pay for the whole amount of tickets whether they sell them or not.

If they take just the 1700 then its on sale or return.

This is really the first time that we may need be in a position to sell the other 1100 to home fans - but I think they put these on sale last ( if all the other ares sell out - as it costs money to open bar - stewards etc in the extra blocks in the second tier.

We are obliged to offer 1700 - A special agreement was made with Wigan where the agreed to take 1100. Its unlikely Brum would agree

birmingham fans always seem ok. loking forward to the banter with them to be honest.

really? ive seen otherwise. to be fair there were quite a few city fans up for the fight.

Quite alot of money as well... I was in the south stand then and just remember us all ripping into the scruffy woman in the 2nd tier, after that it was a free for all

For Gods sake does it really matter how many tickets we allocate for the away fans ?????????????????????????????????????/
Shit we gave how many tickets for two of our local fans and between them they sold what ,2500 ????????????
Looking forward to so many away fans from the Midlands !!!!!!!!!
It,ll make a fookin change from hardly no away supporters being there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you cant be serious, they have always been a bunch of twats as long as i can remember an thats 40 years

United have 300 less than last season at our place, maybe due to trouble at the last match in the cup.

they were very friendly in 2007 wasn't they :)
didnt make out they were friendly but in terms of atmosphere and banter was quite good. city fans were giving it back that day i seem to recall. wasnt it the 20th anniversary of the zulus or summat?
