Heard 'his publicist' speaking on the redio earlier about his swine flu. Things like this (not the swine flu) are why things are going wrong for him on the pitch.

People were calling him dog shit and he started crying so he got himself a publicist to make his tears go away.

Oh and he needs someone to promote his DJ work too.

It's also a bit concerning that Micah's first reaction was that he had alcohol poisoning. Good to know he's taking care of himself while everyone else is back in training!

Its because next time he spitroasts some woman he doesnt want the world to know about it. He probably wants to tell us all about his charity work a bit more as well, good old Micah 'I do a lot of work for charity' Richards.

beer and pizza s ..clearly the fat **** building a big arse to sit on the bench, biggest season ever for us this season and he got beer poisoning or so he thought ..

To me Micah's in the mind set of

"I've made it pro, I earn plenty, I'm no longer a rookie so i'll do what the fuck i want & if the club dont like it fuck them i'm capable of a transfer"

Just my opinion of course.

I must say some people on here love to slag our players off for anything they can find. No matter how small.
I just do not understand it.

FGS, leave the kid alone. He's had a long season, goes on a well earned holiday, catches a cold, the cypriots over react and diagnose him with swine flu, it then hits the papers. Max C should have stopped this story before it ever broke - do your job Max!!!

Personally, I think it's great that Micah has a publicist, it can only do him and the club some good since city seem to get a host of negative press at the moment. At least Max should be in a better position to set the record straight when stupid stories break in the rag newspapers like this one.

Wipe nose and sniffle on!

Seconded, that part was really annoying.

Compare Micah's pre-season to Stevie irelands.
Now, who do you think is going to have the better season?

Would that be the 'pre-season' in which Micah played every game for England at the U-21 championships?

Jesus Christ this thread has been really harsh on him. Of course, if he were to leave City it would be because he's "an ungrateful little shit" who doesn't appreciate the "best twats in the land and all the world." Sorry, I meant fans. (Guess which word I didn't mean)

A 20 year old who had one wobbly season and now we're all over him. 50 games for a guy that age is a huge ask. I look forward to him being awesome next year and all of you fawning over him.

And I can't believe no one has any sympathy for him catching a disease that's killing healthy young people by sending their immune systems into overdrive!

Do you mean Richards playing for his U-21 national team in a FIFA tournament. He has only had about two weeks off.

Some people are very over the top on this site. I assume you believe that Stevie left the Bolton game and went straight into a gym where he has done nothing but trained (do not get me wrong I love Superman, but they are hardly comparable).

Very naive.

In fact there was a picture on here the other day of a person with Stevie at a bar (which I have no problem with), but apparently that is not allowed for footballers. At least according to some.

Totally agree Dobsy.

Some of the fans on here are just childish idiots; he was on holiday; you know, those times when you might have a drink or two, it's allowed! That after no break until then because he'd been playing in a major tournament.

The time to slag him is if he doesn't perform on the pitch NEXT season, not because he was ill or had a drink or two on holiday.

You are being a bit naive there sonny.

How is that?

To be honest I believe that playing in a competitive environment will help Richards more than training in a dojo will help Stevie. That is why there are sayings like "he needs first team football..." etc.

I also do not believe that having a drink or two while on vacation will be that detrimental to his fitness during the year.

If that is naive then so be it, but if you do not think that other players had drinks while on their vacation, then I imagine you are well wide of the mark.

"Is carrying some bulk"

But the impression I get from yourself and biffa is that you think he has done nothing in the off-season aside from drinking. That is wide of the mark.

He has participated in a major FIFA tournament and is sure to have at least maintained his fitness while in the tournament.

On the other hand Stevie has not had any matches since Bolton and has trained in a martial art (hopefully he will utilize the same muscles while playing football). But I would rather him to play in competitive matches than doing karate (or whatever martial art it is).

Either way both should be fit and have performed lots of training to maintain fitness over the summer. Unfortunatly you seem to only want to slate Richards and praise Ireland.
