Mancini won us the league last year, we need to dominate domestically, retain the title and have a good showing in the FA cup, where we can afford to field strong sides every round.
European progression will come with time, I'm not worrying or worried at our current pace. unbeaten in the league, and unbeaten at home in the CL 2 seasons running + in Europa for however long. Last 2 seasons we've had, by far the hardest groups, this year definitely, probably the hardest in it's history. Came 3rd with 10 points last year, which would have taken us through the previous 10 seasons in the CL.
Just bad luck, and will hopefully get teams more common to the Rags in the Cl next year, which would be a welcome sight.
I don't understand this whole 'everything needs to happen now' bollocks, demanding success is a rag characteristic. Leave it out.

I am still not backing down from my prediction of Bob gone by January... Which was pretty much ridiculed when I posted it a few weeks back.

Mancini in my view is one of the worlds best club managers.
He has won the English league title, the FA cup and to some, the 'meaningless Community Shield.
He has won 3 Serie A league titles, 4 Coppa Italias with 3 different clubs, 2 Supercoppa Italiana cups.
If he can do that in just over a decade, imagine what he could do over the next decade.
How anyone can say he's not that good, like i keep hearing or he doesn't know what he's doing is beyond me, Mancini doesn't really care anyway, he's Italian. Why does he keep being compared to Fergie and others? He is relatively new to the English Game, while Fergie, has been here for over 25 years, they're both totally different. He knows what he has achieved and what he is capable of and although Fergie has won everything, Mancini (still only 48) will still be winning titles long after Fergie has gone.....

And again. I want success too, but football guarantees nothing but disappointments even for the Champions. Some can't handle it. I wonder how they'd have handled our descent to Div 2? You wouldn't have seen them for dustTCIB said:Slicker than Sommeil said:People need to give their heads a wobble.

we have the likes of rekik, suarez, razak, guidetti etc on the fringes who should really have been given a few more 10 minute cameos off the bench when games have been comfortably won.
instead he hasn't so they are nowhere near enough to being comfortable in the first eleven as they could be.
he could really have given nimely a run out for the last 15/20 minutes, why did he bring zab on instead?
It matters not how long Fergie has been here for the facts show Mancini is clueless in Europe.bluelol said:Just for the rags that keep popping in from time to time

What is even sadder is that some who were there during those dark days are the most vociferous now, which I think reflects poorly on human nature and its capacity for avarice founded on nothing other than a sense of entitlement.Marvin said:And again. Well it would be, if it wasn't bollocks.
There's not many around here saying they want him sacked. But that doesn't mean we have to be delighted with our CL performances which have been woeful whichever way you look at it. 1 point from 6 against Ajax is an embarrassment. The other games have varied from poor to piss poor.
I don't care how hard our group was, our performance in it was abysmal.

AFAIK none of the teenagers you have listed are ready for first team football , and a couple of them also are out injured if i'm not wrong.
and , by the way , you dont do any favour pushing the youngster on the pitch in this high pressure games , you risk to ruin them forever.
You do realize that this team is leveraged up to a level it will not be possible to maintain in the future, that most of this side won't be here in 4/5 years so NOW is too late.Slicker than Sommeil said:People need to give their heads a wobble.

We were shit lucky to win the league last season despite the miss-management of the squad, we play a one dimensional game that is easily defended against, the team is plsaying as though they know a new boss is on his way!
