Why we will win the league!

It's Liverpools title in my opinion, they arnt as good as us but no team seems able or willing to score against them spurs should have beat them Cardiff created chances yesterday teams seem to score from one lapse from us they are clinical but against Liverpool they are dirt. They have luck on their side you can't beat luck.

They have had huge amounts of luck this season, not just small luck in some games. I an talking about massive luck that has acquired them a lot of points.

This is their best chance of winning the title as var would wipe out a few of those wins and they cannot be that lucky next season, lets say they managed to get over the line. I wonder how they would fair considering teams will always try much harder against last seasons winner

Falling out the top four would be hilarious : )

Anyway as pointed out, its in our hands. We have made the strongest ever defence of a title to date. One game at a time scenario, we have the ability to do it so let cheer our lads onto retaining the title

Doesn't matter a jot whether they win every game 10-0 with the opposition scoring 10 own goals, as long as we win the next 4 games.

Even Pep said us going out of the champions league and them staying in has come too late to really have an impact.

Mind games.

Klopp taking shots at the rags now trying to spur them on by saying it doesn’t look like the rags can influence the derby.

Of course the CL will play a huge role. Barca will be resting Messi and Co as La liga is nearly secured. These games will take a lot out of them, ideally Barca beat them at home something like 2-0 and then knock them out at Anfield.

I’m interested to see how Klopp will rotate in these games. Probably he’ll rest one of the front 3 vs Newcastle.

We have conceded 3 goals in last 10 league games. Spurs created numerous chances saturday but didnt take any so i think your post above is a bit of an overreaction to the champions lge exit. I still think 3 wins and a draw will do it as they will struggle at newcastle with that game coming inbetween the barca games. And dont believe the rafa will roll over for them he is not the 11 players on the pitch.

Just get through wednesday and see what happens friday with them.

Then worry about burney.

The ifs buts and maybes are academic now, both have the teams to win all the raiming games and I cannot see either of us losing tbf.

If we do slip up we are realistically gonna lose out on the title by 1-2 points and could win the FA cup to complete a cup double, highest goal scoring season and 3rd or 4th highest points total in prem history

No matter what a great season has been had.

Newcastle will be on the beach by then mate.

Didn’t watch any live footy yesterday (Everton/Manure and Cardiff/Liverpool) - spent the day out with my wife. Saw Liverpool on the news later. That Cardiff missed header - suspiciously like a dad playing footy with his five year old son and deliberately missing the toy shop goal frame and netting. I knew before the game that Liverpool would get a pen. But the defender gave a visual impression of wrapping his arms round Salah until he performed his signature chest out, head back manoeuvre. Am I going nuts ?

Liverpool may have all the luck but there's one thing you're forgetting, they can win all of their remaining games & we still win the league

no

Still a long way to go. Beat the rags and go top again and then they have to beat Huddersfield. We just need to keep putting the pressure back on them. We only have the league now as the Cup final is a week after our last game. They have to go to Barcelona and will have to then go to St James before playing them again. Our games are tougher on paper but that doesn't matter. Every game is full of pressure at this stage of the season.

Can their players cope with the demand of a tough CL semi final and pressure in every league game? Their key players have already played more minutes than ours. United looked shite yesterday. They will no doubt play better on Wednesday but if we press them high up the pitch they just don't have the players to pass the ball out and we should get a lot of opportunities.

Burnley and Leicester still worry me more. But we simply have to keep winning.

Unless it deserts you when you least expect it.
Luck can be a very fickle friend as well as a double edged sword.
