Why we will win the league!

Anyone else really fucking nervous all of a sudden?

Yup, major anxiety and not slept for a couple of days.

It's not even the fact we could drop points to United, it could be anyone at this stage.

Win tomorrow and I will be buzzing for the night but then dreading Burnley.

You are either that way or not.

I think we'll give them a footballing lesson.

Me too. Its awful.

In 2012 when we scored the second v Newcastle I had about 1 minute of joy then I started thinking about QPR. So I was worried before that game had even finished.

I'm nervous as hell but i hope that no matter how successful we are , we never lose that little doubt in our head for "typical City" moments.
It's what makes us, it's in our DNA.
Fcuk, supporting a successful side is far more stressful than following us when we were shit, every game seems to be a must win nowadays

I'm not too nervous about the derby. I know we could blow it, but I'm expecting a win. It's having to win at Burnley that's worrying me...

Every game I will be nervy now. Would love Rafa to get something from their game, but won’t be counting on it. Seems we will will all be nervous as hell right to the end.

It's the concerning drop in David's form plus the continued absence of KDB that gets to me. Players were on fumes as that game wore on last Saturday. I'm concerned on multiple fronts.

Is anyone taking note of how this title race is being billed as the greatest in PL history?

I wonder if that description will ever be used again by the media, if City retain the title... against the jammiest team in topflight history, that would make them "heroes" and it truly would be "a win for football". If only City had more journalists, who were biased as fuck fans as they do writing the articles, that's how it would go with the same standards applied.

I take it that you didn't watch Chelsea v Burnley last night. Chelsea were poor - very predictable imho, but, Burnley were rubbish and will be up against a far superior team when we visit. They will park the bus. We have to keep the faith, in the knowledge that, not only are we far superior to Chelsea and Burnley, but to every other team in the division. And don't forget, we've done it for 70% of the time this season without KDB. He will be missed, but, we've got superb cover, who are winners, and will be up for it.
So, calm your nerves - we're heading for 98 points

I know what you mean, but I’m old school mate. Lol

This year has shaved about 6 years from my life expectancy. And I think there's another 3 years to shave off before the end of the season...

Listen Folks i follow City from Germany and i m not involved so much in the media issues in England. I want just to say whoever doubt this City Team to reach glory in every Competition don t understand a bit About Football. This Pep Team are the icing of everything connected with Beautiful Football around and Long may it continue

2011/12 was the greatest ,not decided until the 93rd minute and 20 seconds into the last game of the season .

I will wait until we beat Burnley before I get to excited or should I say if.

Yep, this weekend's the big one to me. After that, we have a full week to prepare for Leicester and Brighton each. Sunday should be our toughest test of the three.

The only thing that will stop you winning it now will be complacency. However with it being so close to the end of the season I dont think that will be a problem

Have always thought Burnley away will decide if we win the title or not.

Win that and I can't see us slipping up against Leicester or Brighton.

It's a n unusual way of laying out the league table, but it gives possibly a better idea of the gulf between the top and the bottom sides.

Completely agree.

Burnley have been in good form recently, but now are all but mathematically safe and have little to play for really. They have only a so so home record, and have conceded 62 goals this season. Certainly not the team they were last year, that's for sure.

It won't be easy, as they showed against Chelsea, and in beating Wolves a few weeks back, they are a good team on their day. We have to turn up, get on the front foot, and go hard on the gas early. Don't let up, or get complacent.

Its the toughest of the three fixtures left imo, though Leicester have the goods to trouble us if we are off their game, and with their overall counter attacking threat.

But we are city - and we are three wins from a glorious title defence. COME ON CITY!
