Its been the same for a while with the FA and their unfair treatment and ludicrously inconsistent punishments but on the whole they kind of did their cheating subtley although most of us saw it we were usually shouted down for having a persecution complex and being jealous of the success of the 'big' 4.

However now they are not even being subtle about trying to hamstring us. There is far to many conflicts of interest going on over there to make it a fair run thing.

David Gill premier league representative and rag chief exec

Trevor Brookings influence as a West Ham.

This whole furore over the adebayor thing and the blatant covering up of both the rooney v stoke incident and vidic v wigan incidents, those are 2 that come to mind im sure there is more.

How long can it be before other clubs start saying ok enough is enough and start pushing the FA back and levelling the playing field..

Is it even possible?

errr no

Is there no where we can go, where they would have an impartial view and see the FA for the disgrace it is, surely there is some legal process, or is it a case of we play by their rules and can do fuck all about it. I wouldn't mind if the decisions were consistent and fair, but this is just SWP all over again and it fucking stinks.

I tried last year with Berbatov and got absolutely nowhere. Many people think that is because the organisations running football are fundamentally corrupt.

Me, I couldn't possibly comment.

I think they will ignore and overlook individuals im curious if they could overlook a club or a group.

The FA is fundamentally flawed their protection of the "big 4" is a joke. It does neeed to be independant but how can it be we want the people at the top to know and understand the game but in doing so means they probably are a fan. This can lead to issues like Vidic getting off without a ban for his elbow. Don't know how it can be solved.

I think it could be solved by electing people instead of picking. I think most football fans just want to see fair and unboased decisions, you elect panels etc year in year out if they arent deemed to be doing a good and fair job off they go!

That was a great effort, loved reading ur letters to the FA, never found out how it ended though, where abouts did you get to before you called it quits.

It's not just the FA it is the media too.
This incident has been played and played all weekend. It has been on all news shows and on the radio. With such a public "outcry" the FA will throw the book at him.
It is never the same for the rags. Bacon face has them all running scared.

Im of the opinion that unfortunately we can do nothing about the media as most of them are in business not to report the news but to make a profit and in order to make a profit they have to appeal to the masses and they will do that by attacking us because the masses are generally fans of the big four.

The FA on the other hand are supposed to be an unbiased organisation who represent all clubs and parties in football in a fair and wholy unbiased manner. They are not doing that and therefore have to be brought into account.

When you apply to play in the Premier League, and, I suppose, every league, you agree to the rules of the League and the various competitions you enter. I fancy one of these rules will centre around the notion that the FA and the Premier League will act responsibly and there will be no element of challenge that stands much hope of success, let alone getting a lawyer to argue the case in a court of law. Indeed, the courts would much prefer the sport to sort out their own messes without recourse to them. It amounts to the FA employing a bunch of prejudiced amateurs on their disciplinary panels, who have little regard for what has gone before, and the idea of precedence. In short, the media have already crucified Adebayor, Roman style, and we should just await the handing down of the sentence, in the meekest way we can muster!

FA and UEFA are controlled by the media. Most of the time members of the governing bodies are just on vacation with the money they tax from clubs until the media calls them into action. Money they claim is to enforce the laws and make sure they are enforced fairly. They rarely enforce laws and its definitely not fairly. FA and UEFA will punish someone one out of hundred times while letting the next ninety nine times slide. Basically once every blue moon maybe thats why they only punish City. SWP and allegedly* Adebayor were not the only two people to break the rules without being red carded by the ref in the last year. Bosingwa kicked a player in the back with his studs up against Liverpool. Rooney did both stamp and karate kick a player against Aallborg.

*innocent until proven without a doubt guilty and there is easily one percent of doubt as some angles its looks innocent.

Thia is just another tool in the FA and Premier Leagie's armoury to protrct the big 4. Irrespective of how you saw the oncident no one can prove beyond doubt the intent. What aboiut RVP's challenge. Why did that go unpunished? It's not just the fact that he may get a ban its the speed at which they seem to be pushing it through. I've never known this type of thing take less than a week and then start immediately. What about adebayor's right to appeal the decision? This stinks.
