Will SWP

It's time to say adios to Shaun. His best days are behind him, but he could still do a good job for a club such as Bolton. I'd like to see him get plenty of games in the remainder of his career so he will be remembered. He has spent a lot of time sitting on the bench if you consider his time with Chelsea. Daniel Sturridge looks to be heading down the same path.

yes, one more season then he will be gone.

hughes said he come back a better player, i completely disagreed the day he said it and i was right,

give me the old SWP over anyone in the league at the moment and i'll take it, unfortunetely he hasn't got it anymore, he's had his days.

if we want to become a real player at the top table, he's just not good enough.

If we are going to "become a real player at the top table" then I reckon we really need to keep someone like SWP. Ok, I agree he isn't good enough as first choice but as back up, he's absolutely ideal. Works hard and on his day can change a game. Liverpool nearly won the league last season and have been in CL finals in recent history with players of much less quality as back up. Who is united's second choice right winger? I really can't think who it is, off the top of my head.

I don't think he will be good enough next season and will move on for regualar first team football.

And besides, it will ne his daddy who will deside.

Be here in your opinion next season

Yes or no?

I think he will be here for one last season myself.

On current form no and his recent ill advised outbursts have probably ensured hw will be on his way - sad very sad but no one is bigger than the club and his fookin gobshite father has for me at least made me indifferent to him at best,
I agree!

can't see anyone offering him the wages hes on now, never mind after a hike. I think he'll be getting splinters next season, but is a still a useful option to have.

If he missed the World Cup squad because he can't get back in our team then he'll probably want to leave. Whether another team would be willing and able to match his wages is another matter. I could see him ending up at Villa.

As much as I love him and wish he could get back to his best, I prefer having Johnson and Bellers as our wide players.

Unless Arsenal or Barcelona come in for him again.

Bwahahaahhaa. Maybe if either of them plan on sticking him in the under 10s teams and passing him off as a kid, but he'd still get outclassed tehcnically then

I think he'll swallow his pride and sign the contract, he won't be a great deal of use to us form here on in though I don't think

if he can forget about the contract nonsense and knuckle down, then yes, he has a future at city.

next season is going to have potentially 50% more games than this year and there will be games perfect for an on form SWP.

No i think he"ll be gone as well. Weiss will come back and after a good world cup will be the one pushing AJ and Bellars for a starting stop. If Wrighty stays it will send out the wrong signal to Weiss who may decide he wants out and i'd rather see how he can progress than wait to see if Shaun can find his old form which i personnally don't think he can.

Weiss can't get into the Bolton team and while I have been impressed with what I have seen of him that doesn't suggest he'd be challenging for a starting place in a team that will be hoping to challenge for the title I'd imagine.
