Was thinking earlier about the enigma that is Mario.

The last few games of the season I thought Balotelli was superb (in comparison to his first few games). He didnt score, but his work rate and attitude showed significant improvement. The semi against Utd stood out for me the most.

Then I think of Villa in the cup, again without Tevez.

Could be purely coinsidence, but selling Tevez might also be like signing a new player in a way.

I think i it could bring out the best from a couple players including Kompany as our captain.

He will shine with that armband ;-)

I have said before that Mancini should just say to Mario:

"Right you are the main man now, show me what you can do"

There is no question his is a quality player, and one simple sentence will show the rest of the Premiership that.

i hope so, i think when tevez didnt play it brought out the best in the entire team i.e F.A Cup. Im not knocking tevez but his style was too take control of every game and his mentality is not one every player could adapt to fully, i think vincent kompany as captain gave a more balanced team performance. Even if tevez was game winning.

It will bring the best out of both Balo and Dzeko...

Tevez can't work with anyone else than Silva. And he will never do...

Bobby Manc should get each player into a supposedly 'secret' one-to-one meeting and tell them all that!!!!!

His major problem is staying fit, doing that and having a good preseason is all it will take.

(and, unless for his on field ability, keeping his mug out of the papers....)
