Seems they slagged him off a lot before but now we replace him it is all "oh what a wonderful job Pellegrini has done it is cruel how he is treated".. no we just got a better manager and took it. Business is ruthless, sadly.

No, because they don't actually look at goings on, they just take whatever side they need to, to suit their narrative.

The sports journalism in this country is terrible.. but we know that.

It's so agenda ridden it is basically like a politically race the title race, now..

Well the only way is to blame either Yaya or Pelle for our problems so guess it depends which week it is. Woeful from everyone (bar aguero) today, some of this was Pelle's fault and some was the players fault but it was pathetic. Watching today and pep would have doubts about 10 of them

What has happened to Spanish Dave he is giving the ball away so much , has been terrible recently and it's really unlike him, he's probably my favourite city player ever but He has had a Hazard like drop in form

Pellegrini should be thankful to Guardiola.

If Guardiola wasn't coming in the summer Pellegrini would have had his p.45 by now.

So would Tixxi. Without Pep to save him, attention would switch to his appalling player and manager recruitment.

correct, had pep not agreed verbally last summer, someone else would be in charge right now. Khaldoon looked seriously pissed off in end of season interview

Don't agree with that.

We've bought fantastically well under Txiki.

It's easy in hindsight to slag off his signings but Fernandinho, Sagna, Navas, Negredo, Demichellis, KDB, Otamendi, Delph, Jovetic and Sterling were all good signings at the time. Some of them players will go on to play a key role in the coming seasons.

The only questionable signings has been Mangala and Fernando. However, I'm only saying that based on Eli's reported fee. We definitely needed a CB that summer and Mangala was highly rated. He has also shown in glimpses that he is a talent. However, for the money we paid and his age we should have expected a better return so far.

So from fantastic to good in a paragraph.

The side Tikki inherited had more talent than today's side. Cook signed Toure, Silva, Kompany, Zabeleta and Aguero. Tikki hasn't replaced any of them, piss poor.

Most of these players would slot into any top quarter PL team, and most of them have turned in some special performances this season. The trouble is that they don't do it together in the same fuckin' match, there's always somebody droppin' one in and around our penalty area! And few of them seem to be able to do it for two or three matches on the trot.
