Former snooker star Willie Thorne has passed away aged just 66.
Willie was diagnosed with leukaemia in March and was taken to hospital in Spain with low blood pressure last week.
As an avid snooker fan, I tip my hat to Willie, I thought he was a really down to earth bloke, a solid player who had the demon gambling as a problem.
Always liked listening to him commentate on games, RIP .
