Leading up to the world cup, the rags best player Rooney fucks a metatarsal up which weakens England up front for the world cup , and England get eliminated early doors due to his metatarsal however this injury also fucks the rags chumps league qualification up and accelerates there demise.

scenario 2
Or Rooney fit and healthy , england win the final and rags finish 2nd and continue in europe.

Personally I reckon the day they drop out of the chumps league without qualifying is the day they really capitulate as a force in this country.

Scenario 2 because they will demise anyway and I am English living in Ireland. I don't have much love for England but I have given the Irish some really bad stick since they got knocked out :-)
