I think the arrival of Pellegrini, along with addressing our two main weaknesses from last year has most people pretty damn well excited about the new season. I'm certainly going into it with more optimism than last year.
 
I love city and when they turn out on day 1,am totally behind the team.But i am allowed to throw a little yelp in because i did not get my dream team

Yeah! Moaning about people moaning is moaning! I think I'll ask a polite question: Would it at all be possible for all fans to adopt a positive note until Messi turns up wearing Dave Ewings old No 5 shirt? Thank you!
 
The lack of football does strange things to people.

I had a dream the other day whereby I was tasked with ferrying Tevez to the game, but whichever way I drove I couldn't get any closer to the stadium. I could see all the fans walking easily to the game and looking at me in disapproval at failing this task. Next thing I'm at the stadium, pitch-side, and Mancini is walking towards me, shaking his head and tutting - think I'd lost my passenger, somehow. Then I woke up.

All I know is we are more than halfway from the end of last season and the start of the next and it feels a whole lot better. Looking forward to seeing MP's master plan and the new signings. Pip, pip!
