Whenever I try and click on a video that opens in Windows Media Player, it doesnt work. The page Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage comes up. It isnt just the one site or video or anything like that, its my laptop in general, and I do have the latest WMP dowloaded.

Any ideas

So the file is actuallly launching WMP? but is then also launching a IE window aswel?

You should be using this anyway:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html</a>

If you are saying that when you click on a website with a wmp video embedded and it comes up that you are not connected to the internet and it cannot display the page, it is usually something to do with your default program settings if memory serves. On your start menu there is usually something called 'set default programs and...' (can't remember exactly, I am on my phone here) Try setting to defaults and I am sure this sorts this issue out.
