I'm having a PC custom built and would like to keep XP as the OS instead of Vista, Is there a way to transfer the licence of my current XP to my new PC?

if you have the original xp disc you can install it and let it do its stuff using the original product key, if it refuses to activate you can call microsoft to get it activated.

you have 30 days to do this from when you install it.


if you are lucky it will activate ok anyways
