Opening the bottle does not work. If you decant it puts oxygen into the wine. You can also get the same effect by pouring the wine so that it bubbles. From a small height straight into the glass. This will improve it. Letting it breath doesnt get the same amount of oxygen and so decanting or the magic pouring system works.
