A program I use called TUGZip is a great program, it can create archives in .zip, .7z, .bh, .cab, .jar, .lzh, .sqx, .tar,.tbz, .tgz and .yz1 formats and open all archives as well as ISO and BIN cd images so you can get into one of these files without a dvd drive emulating program (eg daemon tools or PowerISO). Apparently it supports a total of 28 different archive types.
It also integrates into the Windows shell for ease of use. And better still, its free!
