Wireless Routers.

Having trouble streaming YouTube video recently and its started screwing up my internet connection, requiring constant switching off and on of modem and router.

Can anyone advise of anything I could adjust in my router settings or advise of a decent replacement. It's a Linksys WRT54G, I've had it about 5 years and it was a refurb when I got it so it may be due to be replaced. I'm on Virgin Media so would have to be a cable broadband router, cheers lads.

I had a constant problem with my internet connection in the same way and it turned out to be the router. I replaced it and the problems disappeared.

can be the filters too in many cases

filters are only used for dsl connections

the op is using virgin which is cable

just thought id mention it :)
