Can I just ask that everyone turns up on saturday to drink a toast in memory to my good friend Sue and also Sam and to remember them with respect but also to remember the great times we had in their company. Please remember that their relatives will be present so lets show what the blues can be as a caring family.

Toby

Ps Also can those people who were coming then decided not to please reconsider as Sue and Sam would of wanted you to be there x

Good post Al

Saturday should be very imporatant to the BM family. Its about celebrating our lost friends and doing it in a way they would have felt comrotable with, laughed at and enjoyed being part of.

Lets leave our little differences at the door and drink a toast in there memory in the right and proper spirit.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. I only wish it wasn't under these circumstances.

Im looking forward to meeting you Ste and others as bizarre in the circumstances it seems, but if anything i hope it brings us all closer.

When Scarblu died we had a day similar to what we will be having for Sue and Sam and i made mant friends that day who i had never met, but who turned up to celebrate a life of a poster lots hadnt met. The day was full of respect and we had sang City songs ......im sure Sue and Sam would approve of that

are they going to be selling draught bitter upstairs rascal?

Sadly will not be there. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law (who, despite the Les Dawson jokes, I am very close to) is seriously ill in hospital over in Belfast so I will be in Ireland I'm afraid. Will definitely raise a glass to both Sue and Sam though when I'm over there as I would hope to be in a pub at some point, even if only for a crafty one.

I'll be drinking a toast to them from Derby. Very funny and caring people.

I will be in the Mad Hatter in New York on Saturday - the first Jamesons will be in a raised glass to lost Blues everywhere, but in particular our recent losses.

Any other Blues in the Big Apple want to join me and my mate Jim (who has come over for 2 weeks) then drop me a PM :)
