It’s a really hard shout, as Kompany, Silva, Yaya and Sergio were the spine of our most succesful era. There are even those who may give a shout to Hart, Tevez , Zabba or even Dzeko as key to our rebirth.

For me it’s Silva.

Consistently brilliant and un-noticed. Ultra-professional and an ambassador and example to any young fan. There has always been a direct correlation between our form and his. He represented the world class players i never dreamed of seeing at City after our tumble through the leagues. One of Spains greatest (think he is now 3rd top scorer) in an era of xavi, Iniesta etc

Kompany was the leader and spokesman
Yaya was the Big Business guy for Big goals
Aguero was the icon

But Silva was the heartbeat and symbol for me

High pollen count on his last game (hopefully not for another couple of years)

Silva. But, at the same time, excited at the thought of who might replace him in the coming years especially if it's one of our own.

Unquestionably David Silva for me quiet unassuming and brilliant the day he leaves will be a really really sad but joyous too. Knowing where we where we have come from and where he and the other players have brought us is amazing. These are paradigm shifting times and I am so pleased that I have witnessed them

Difficult to chose. Emotionally Yaya will hit hard and Aguero harder.

Vinny’s an odd one, unless he goes to international level I can see him sticking with the club in some form or another and it won’t feel as final.

When Dav waves his last goodbye I’ll be properly devastated that he’ll never grace our grass again, but I don’t think it’ll be gut wrenching thinking about it now. I’m sure I’ll change my tune when the time comes though.

Silva and Sergio have performed at a high level without fuss as did zabba. It' is really hard to separate them. Kompany yaya and hart came with certain baggage.

In terms of consistency ability and effort it has to be Silva but the argies will always be my favourites

Silva, but only because he’s fundamental to the current starting 11, in fact we can live without the others even though they are awesome but without Spainish Dave we lose something in midfield and no one yet can take the same role (eg Bernardo/Gaundogan)

Silva just just because he seemed to have played more games aguero Konpany and Yaya have missed more games and we have done fine

The club will need to make a decision on Vinny next year as his contract is up.

Silva has 2 more seasons at the top for me. He will be 34 at the end of season 19/20.

These sad days are coming.

Who'd have thought that any of these awesome guys would have practically devoted their whole careers to little City.
