Interesting article on the BBC Sport website.

So Wolves lost a million quid a week last season having lost 23m the year before and are projecting to lose a whole lot more this year having spent 109m on new players since they were promoted.

Do I hear the press calling for a FFP investigation ? Is Der Speigel all over this ? No, thought not.

PL TV money will wipe out most of that deficit.

FFP is bullshit and the sooner it's done away with, the better. Wolves have been a breath of fresh air, and I hope they keep doing well - except against us of course. At least they don't put 11 men behind the ball and bore everyone to death like some teams I could mention.

This is last seasons accounts - Villa Derby and Leeds all demanded an investigation into our financial affairs but we are still within FFP limits, mainly thanks to PL money - funnily no one wanted to investigate our spending when we finished 15th in the championship the season before with the same owners.

Should you qualify for Europe...as is of course still possible, and you knock out a Spanish Italian or German club you can be sure there will be continent wide howls of foul play and demands of full and microscopic accounting of each and every penny that has seen the light of day within a 50mile radius of Molineaux. Oh and whatever you do dont even think about finishing in the top 4 and ruffling red feathers either end of the M62 west of the pennines.

Welcome. Great to see you here.

I’ve been very impressed with Wolves this season, apart from Boly's extremely dodgy handball "goal", that is.

You have achieved some great results and play football the right way.

I hope you continue to improve and can break into the top six, or even secure a Champions' League spot, though beware second season syndrome.

Yeah, it's ok to spend fuck loads of money and fail - that's entirely acceptable - but once you start doing well that's when everyone spits their dummy out!

thanks - we are too busy actually enjoying a premier league season for the first time to worry about next season..but yeah second season syndrome be hard to improve on what we've achieved with increased expectations, as well.

So it seems Fulham for example spent more. But we are the ones that bought the league and ruined football.

Spending money they haven't got? Uefa are gonna kick 'em out. Don't know what Uefa would kick them out of but that's what Uefa do! Kick teams out of things. Or threaten them with a good kicking, whilst cancelling matches for spectators after they've shelled out!

Wolves ground has been in transition for the last 40 years.
