Please come out with the same energy. Big decisions for pep. I dont see how he can drop lewis or alvarez, unless Rico is carrying a knock which i wouldnt be surprised. He was kicked from pillar to post but kept demanding the ball and was so intelligent with it. What a player.

Hope Dias and Stones are CB for this. Mahrez and grealish should be in too.

Ederson
Lewis Stones Laporte Aké
Mahrez Rodri Gündogan Foden
Álvarez Haaland
This. Walker in if Lewis not fit. Bernie, KDB and Cancelo need to play themselves into form. Foden needs to prove his salt soon before comparisons with Delle. A start to gain momentum.

Hope Peps words have changed the players attitudes. Tricky game this we all know Wolves are capable of turning us over. Going for a nervy 2-1 win. Wolves to score the first goal for our usual wake up call.

Ederson
Rico
Stones
Dias
Ake
Rodri
Gundogan/KDB
Mahrez

Alvarez

Judging by his comments I can’t see the others getting back in unless they impress in training.

Worry about Phil a little.

Ederson
Stones Dias Ake
Rico Rodri Gundogan
Mahrez Alvarez Grealish
Haaland

None of the starters for Spurs deserve to be dropped but I've put Dias in for Akanji to get minutes.

Rico drops into centre-mid in possession so effectively 3 in the middle with a wide back 3 behind. Stones really suits a wide right CB and Ake on the other side has been faultless.

With 3 behind EH, Alvarez just off him, there's no room for Kev yet. He's been leggy so get him right for when needed most.

Ilkay, decisive on the ball & like Rico lifts the game of those around him. Bernardo who I like a lot has been 'comfortable' in possession with no real punch.

Rodri, weak in the tackle against Kane but mishaps like this are rare & he's on route for our POTY but for Erling's incoming 40 goal haul!

Expecting a tougher game than Spurs. These have a lot of technically good players allied to smarts at killing the pace of the game whenever momentum is building from the opposition. Last season's game vs them at home never flowed at all, was constantly interrupted with injury stoppages and then Jimenez's outright refusal to leave the pitch after his second yellow. I'm expecting more of the same especially with Diego Costa now in their ranks.
Fans are going to need patience as we try to find a breakthrough.

Is that the bitey, nasty, ugly Diego Costa that we all know and love.... fuck.
