Not that it matters (as we will get fuck all while the opposition get away with kicking fuck out of us and wasting half an hour sitting in the floor) but who is the cheat, sorry ref, on Sunday?

Referee: David Coote. Assistants: Lee Betts, Timothy Wood. Fourth official: Thomas Bramall. VAR: Darren England. Assistant VAR: Ian Hussin.

Atwell is on VAR in Leeds v Brentford at the same time and Oliver is reffing Liverpool-Chelsea and then on VAR monday night, so we've avoided those 2 cheating cunts.

Ederson
Lewis
Stones
Dias
Ake
Rodri
KDB
Bernardo
Alvarez
Mahrez
Haaland

IF we can beat Wolves their is no bad result possible from the Emirates.
Rags win we are only two points behind the Arse.
Arse win rags back in the box, six points behind us.
Draw and we are in a strong position both ways.
My own preference the rags get dicked regardless of the consequences.

Same here - there is plenty of time to chase down Arsenal

If Pep wants desire and passion he needs to pick a system that complements the players strengths. He rightly dropped Kdb, Foden and Cancelo for poor performances now he needs to address our formation. With 442 we're still playing the exact same sideways slow tempo, low chance creation football, dont let the second half vs Spurs fool you, we won because of sheer determination and individual brilliance.

Spurs were awful second half but even at 2-2 we never had full control of the game. Gundogan and Rodri midfield pairing is slow and lacks aggression. Lewis played wider second half and provided the overlap as well as playing inverted, that allowed Mahrez to play closer to the box. Alvarez dropped deeper to create a link from midfield to attack, Bernardo can do this same job in a midfield three with Rodri and Gundogan theres no need to play 442. He has great chemistry with Mahrez in an offensive phase and defensively he'll make us stable againts transitons.

If Pep persists with 442 againts Wolves we probably will win but it will be slow and boring like usual, Wolves might even nick a result like Everton. Also he substitutions are still too late Gundo was tired on 60mins.

Yes it was a good result but im not convinced we can build on it until:
1. We go back to 433
2. Play a consistent back 4 lineup

Ederson
Lewis Stones Laporte Aké
Bernardo Rodri Gundogan
Mahrez Haaland Grealish

Who was on var last night? Wasn’t that England?

Same as last night apart from Dias in for Akanji (who has been really poor recently) and KDB in for Gundogan for me.

Ederson

Walker
Stones
Laporte
Cancelo

Rodri
Gudongan
Kdb

Mahrez
Haaland
Grealish

4-3-3 suits us better than any other formation.
I agree about 4-3-3 but would have Bernardo in for KDB and Dias for Laporte (if fit). Foden for one of the wide players if still knackered from last night.

Not on TV for those in the UK. Kick off time 14:00 (GMT).

Time to go on a bit of a run now. Make that fight back against Spurs be the catalyst for change. Let's hunt Arsenal down. They play after us on Sunday, so we could be just 2 points behind them (albeit they will have 2 games in hand).

No idea who starts this one. 3 points is all that matters.

one of their games in hand is playing us :)

Guessing you don't watch us (Wolves) very often? We are one of, if not the, most shafted sides in the league! We get absolutely fuck all!

I think we both feel that way, one just has slightly better players.

I seem to recall City and Wolves were the first teams getting on VAR's back for shocking decisions.

Zero confidence that fucker will pull them on rolling around/timewasting.

It's got Everton all over it, need an early goal two.

Already poured your drinks, we have been shafted by it since its inception, certainly put us back in our place after our great first season back in 2018!
I have a feeling you will do OK officiating wise this Sunday.
