It’s because the Tuesday/Wednesday TV slots of that midweek are reserved for FA Cup replays and Sky/BT/Amazon can’t show PL games then for contractual reasons.
The Spurs game was originally selected for TV so remains on Sky whenever it’s eventually played and so has to be on Thursday. Rags v Palace has now also been rearranged for that midweek but as it wasn’t a TV game, can be played on the Wednesday.

Leeds vs Cardiff cup replay is on the Wednesday and will be on tv, so we have to play Thursday.

Police dont like a Manchester club and a club from Trafford playing at home the same night, i know its happened before, but there is always a potential for trouble, espescially with derby day this sat with it only a few days later , feelings could be running high

TV companies’ coverage of Liverpool is so sickening with their pro-Liverpool guff, that no City fans would sit and watch it anyway. May as well have us on the same night on Sky.

I'd originally 'sold' my Spurs ticket via the club exchange but with the game not happening they'd sent me an email to 'claim' it back if I now wanted to go which I did with the proforma on the email. Should be nice, simple & easy....what could possibly go wrong!!!!!

Fucking piss up in a brewery springs to mind.

Anyway, if you transferred the Spurs ticket and claimed it back, make sure you're live.

I'm in same boat, via the twitter Supporters Help, they said should get an email in next few days with a ticket attached. Cos used ticket exchange they said it couldn't go direct into wallet. I feel a disaster coming on
