    Employ Yaya as penalty coach.

    Ederson at this rate!

Buzzing. We normally look disjointed, lethargic and disorganised pre-season.
Forget the result, i've never seen us look so "on it" so early. Even the youth players are showing they get our system.
Come the start of the league, we will be hitting the ground running. Plus added Debruyne goodness!

Angelino needs work. Stands out as the poorest player by a long way.

    Harwood-Bellis was very good.
    Danilo did ok at CB.
Rodri looked better today and a rolls Royce of a player.
Bernarbe and Poveda didn't look out of place.
Bernardo needs some more minutes. Very quiet
Sterling looked comfortable with his back to goal. A decent 3rd choice attacker if needed.
KDB looked as though he hadn't missed most of last season.
Nmecha is decent, but won't make it with us.
Garcia looked composed in his two sub appearances. Is he club trained? If so, he might make the squads.
Nice the see Knight get some minutes, but didn't really do much. Hard though for him as the game had died by the time he came on.

Very enjoyable for an hour, pitch started to cut up and substitutions killed the game. Can only comment on these two games, but Angelino so far, looks like a player who has won a raffle to play for city. KDB was superb and Rodri looks a good buy.I thought that goalies were going to be penalised for coming off their lines on penalties from now on?

Yeah, we started like a runaway train, no concerns from me. Plus we still have several lads to return to the squad, Wolves had their strongest eleven on the pitch from the start.

In some ways it typifies Leroy as a player. We all know he has the talent to go as high as he wants, yet is still inconsistent. Pretty poor today, but still won the penalty. He makes things happen.

His first touch isn't the best and that pitch didn't help. If he could trap the ball better, he'd become almost unplayable.

Wasn't as good as Sterling at holding the ball up with his back to goal.

Missed chances and Angelino's form a big concern.

We were decent with the ball, Wolves couldn't live with our press, passing and movement, and they are a couple of weeks ahead in pre-season. Shame about the missed pens but it shouldn't have got to the shoot out with the chances we had. Been impressed with Rodri over the two games, less so with Angelino, some of the kids look very good.
