A bit of a deflating end to their last home game of the season, but they can be happy about how things have gone in the second part of this season. Presumably they’ll be without Traore and Neves next season, so a bit of a rebuild will be in order.

Yeah always deflating to drop points that late but every cloud - that late goal could be a nail in Leeds coffin!

Mouriniho traore and costa are at the end of their contracts
Raul is expected to leave he was in tears at the end. Neves is expected to be sold. So quite the rebuild for lopetegui over the summer.

Piece in the Athletic suggesting, no more, that Jonny and Jimenez might also leave this summer, which would mean quite a substantial rebuild, and those rarely go smoothly, at least not initially. Anyway, that’s a worry for next year so well done for this one.

All of nunos old guard will be leaving probably. Neither Jonny or Jimenez have ever recovered from serious injuries unfortunately. So big summer ahead.

Everton equalised with virtually the last kick of the game in 9 minutes of added time by the useless David Coote. Was a bit deflating as our home form has been excellent of late and looked like another win today until that late, late goal.

We will be having a big rebuild but in truth its long overdue. Many of the old guard have grown stale or simply never recovered their old form after recovering from injury.

We were disappointed that Raul didn't get a token few minutes today and he reacted badly. Joao Moutinho wasn't eve in the stadium after declining any part in the proceedings today which was another sad ending

Isn’t the manager already talking about lack of money? If experienced players are going then could be tricky for the Wolves unless you buy really cannily with the loose change behind the sofa. Hope it works out though

I'm not sure there's a lack of money as such but I think there will be outgoings to fund incomings and that Lop and his men need to be a little creative in the market, Lop brought Fran Garagarza in with him who masterminded a similar operation at Elche.

There is also talk that we are going to make a lot less use of Jorge Mendes. This is welcome as in the early days he brought players into Wolves that we wouldn't have got otherwise. Nuno himself was a Mendes man but then so was the awful Bruno Lage who replaced him and got us into the mess this season. In recent years we have been repaying Mendes massively by taking in mediocre players for hugely inflated fees who clearly didn't want to be at Wolves.

Lop has spoken of the importance of bringing in players that want to play for the club and has frozen out some of the Mendes players, in January he sanctioned loaning Goncalo Guedes back to Benfica after just a few months at the club where he looked thoroughly disinterested.

Lop also took a dim view of Raul Jimenez going to the World Cup when he was seemingly unavailable to play for Wolves. He has been used sparingly since and yesterday was on the bench (he had been left out of the matchday squad for a few games recently), we thought he may get a few farewell minutes but Lop chose to bring on Diego Costa instead, Raul reacted badly by throwing his training bib at the bench and storming down the tunnel.
