Linked with Pedro Martins (former Olympiakos coach).

I like that the Premier League welcomes loads of talent from abroad, but a club from Wolverhampton having such a heavy emphasis on Portuguese staff is just a bit weird. There's got to be better coaches out there than Nuno, Lage and Martins... got to be better players than Trincao or Guedes or Semedo available for the same price or less. It's all just a bit odd.

Its due to the close ties to Mendes who is a de facto DOF. He has brought players to Wolves we would not have had access too like Neves, Jota, Moutinho, Patricio but a fair few stinkers too. Same with managers too though I reject you including Nuno in your list - Nuno was a legend to us and for most of us considered the best of our lifetimes. We loved him and he loved us and many of us thought it was wrong to sack him last year. Lage was a duffer, a patsy, totally out of his depth and promoted beyond his means, good riddance.

I would like us to look outside of Mendes circle as there are few managers of note in it. I am gutted we didn't get Lopetegui, felt like a proper manager of ambition. Martins looks a poor, low ambition option and I hope its not him but then, I don't know who else it might be

So would you take Nuno back then ?

I wouldn't be against it as I love the bloke but I'm not convinced it would be a good idea. His time has gone and Lage alienated a number of Nuno's players and got them out of the club (Coady being and example) so its a different time now. How often does it work for a manager going back? Plus he is on a lucrative deal out in Saudi now and probably would be reluctant to work for the owners of the club that he didn't see eye to eye with

I agree about the manager going back, probably wouldn't work, but the truth is,you have regressed a lot since he was there, and believe me I ain't taking piss here,as I have a few mates who are Wolves fans, and told them the same thing, you are going to be involved in a relegation dogfight all this season.

Costa might get a couple of goals, but that is your main issue, nobody to put ball in back of net, which will only end in one way I'm afraid, back to playing the Baggies next season,(if they stay up of course).

I'm not suggesting that Nuno was or is the greatest,he smartened himself up,put a black jacket on,beat us and thought he was gonna be elite at Spurs, but it didn't work out quite that way.

I do wish you luck in the survival, but I also wish myself luck on Wednesday and Saturday when I do the lotto, and that hasn't worked out too well neither yet.

I wouldn't be against Nuno, would love to see it but not sure it would work but I'd certainly not be against trying it.

I know we are in a relegation scrap. Our run of form stretching back into last season is horrific. Only won 3 out of the last 22 and can't score for toffee. We have 3 goals in 9 games this season. We aren't sure what is wrong with Raul or when he will be back, we signed Sasa who lasted 45 minutes before doing his ACL and now it all rests on 34 year old Costa. We have wide forwards who struggle to score and just look toothless.

I was so proud when we were first promoted as we had a style and identity and got good results from the big boys but now we get nothing from anyone. We have had several very poor transfer windows bringing in poor players or youngsters not ready and we know that this just takes you backwards at this level but our CEO Jeff Shi knows best (he thinks) and listens to nobody but Mendes.

We're in a mess

Don’t think nuno would want to come back, tbh I don’t think his relationship with the board ended on a happy note. Fans want him back because things went downhill when he left, but it’s never a good idea to go back.
We are not Interested in martins according to local journalists, but God knows who we‘ll end up with.

Just hope it isn’t Bruce :)
