Wolves Thread 2025/26 | Rob Edwards appointed (p8)

Win win for Edwards

He keeps them up, win.
He doesn’t and ends up sacked, win by payout.

Someone with ambition, however, would stay at ‘Boro and try and get them up.

Might be win/win for his bank account but surely his reputation has been damaged. I wouldn’t want to hire him if at the first chance of a new job he shoots straight off

He was our u21 coach as well he was always going to come to wolves if the opportunity came
Local lad wolves fan hopefully his dream job isn’t a nightmare but he’s got a hell of a job to do.
I thought he was an Everton fan? What does seem to have played a part, is that his wife wanted him closer to home.....as he allegedly (and seems common knowledge among Luton fans) that he's a bit of an Alan Pardew......takes an unhealthy interest in players wives ;)

I get why rob wants it but he’s letting his heart rule his head

January will be too late for them - they badly misjudged how the 3 promoted teams recruited and their own recruitment.
But, as is stated in certain other threads, you can spend nearly £500m and oddly go backwards ;)
Edit: @Wanderingwolf still nothing against you guys, just a view

Appointing rob is probably with an eye on next season and the reality of being relegated which was always going to be the outcome with these owner’s lack of investment
Rob will know that he’s not stupid
