Something for the older supporters or history geeks like me
At 1:36:32 you’ll find a 1-0 defeat at Molyneux on April 1st 1961 and a goal by future City striker Jimmy Murray.
However, keep your eye on the reaction of the other Wolves striker Ted Farmer, who the commentator calls “childish”
This caused a big controversy at the time and the Wolves Manager Stan Cullis insisted on Farmer publicly apologizing to Bert Trautmann.
I also found this quote by Oldwulf on a Wolves forum
“It happened in 1960/61 on 1st April. Wolves were hammering City but Trautmann was stopping everything, until near the end of the match. Jimmy Murray met a cross with a magnificent header which beat the brave Trautmann all ends up and Wolves won 1-0. What left a very bad taste in the mouth was Ted Farmer standing over the prostrate and beaten goalkeeper, jeering and clapping him ironically. The dignified and magnificent goalie deserved better than that and Farmer was pulled into line by Cullis in no uncertain manner”
