Maybe the F.A dont want Womens Football to go the way of mens. If there is a cap, you'll play for the team where you might win stuff, if they want you. Or your local team. Or the team that plays your style etc. Lots of choices for lots of reasons. Mens football, reason-money. ( not 100%, but it influences most). The women will move in England for better reasons.

Maybe, but I just think from day dot that money has always been primarily the number one reason why a footballer moves. It just so happens that the majority of clubs willing to pay the most are usually the ones at the top too which is a huge bonus.

Do you think Gerrard would have stayed at Liverpool had they not paid him between £100k-£200k a week?

Do you think Silva or Aguero would still be at City had we not paid them £200k a week?

Lyon are at the top of the women’s game because Aulas the president pays his players the top whack and because of it he has managed to attract the very best over the last 10 years and build the best teams over the last 10 years.

The salary cap has to be scrapped if women’s football in this country wants to continue to grow.

Just wait until the end of next season when the swamp lot get into the top league, the rules will change then....no limit on spending.

I’m not sure they will United will look to hoover up everyone’s else’s talent on the cheap - they won’t throw money - they’ll just tap up and operate in the margins of legality and get away with it. They’ll be all over our squad and our youth teams.

We should be getting bigger crowds for all the success the Women’s Team have had. I’ve only been to the occasional game and probably could have gone to more.

Removing the salty cap would just result in more financial losses or hand outs (at least in the short to medium term).

Quite the terse request, with the obligatory not settled in Manchester comment for good measure, it is a World Cup year as well, bless.

Just read this. Sounds a bit up herself and looks like she never fitted in. Tbh other than Lyon and Barca. Is there much better out there? How would the teams in the states do against MCWFC?

Or, as is already happening, they'll move abroad for the 'going rate'
