Yes it is, we've not been firing on all cylinders so far this season but we'll need to be for that one.Arsenal in the semi-final, that is one tough game.

He seemed to give a goal kick so it may be classed in the same way as scoring from an indirect free kick. What was all that about ie the goal straight from the drop ball being disallowed? Is it a rule or did the ref rule it out as some sort of 'ungenylemanly conduct' ?
The football they play is so bloody predictable, where is the flair and the off the cuff plays? Football is basically a simple game and that is how it should be played by the ladies, use wingers and get in plenty of crosses.Well, considering that was down a league we struggled. Little cohesion, the magnetic compass we seem to have that's fastened into where our defensive cross is has worked a treat again - City corners and three passes later we are into our own area with a pass to the goalie. I'm glad I didn't freeze my arse off watching that!
I thought it was as poor a performance as the men to be honest, a total lack of ideas, and long periods where we worse or no better than Leicester, much of the game resembled a pub team game. We look to have totally regressed over the last 18 months.Well, considering that was down a league we struggled. It's difficult to suggest where, twelve or fifteen months ago, the City spark lay, in which individual or individuals, because we always seemed to play a good all-round team game and we attacked in numbers, defended in numbers, marauded in numbers. The women's game yesterday mirrored the men's in that it would be very difficult to pick a Player of the Game - no one stood out as having a solid game, front, middle or back. I think GT is going to be troubled in not knowing what his best team is - we seem to have an abundance of much muchness! I hope Rose can deliver the spark that has been missing for some time.I thought it was as poor a performance as the men to be honest, a total lack of ideas, and long periods where we worse or no better than Leicester, much of the game resembled a pub team game. Have we got 9 substitutes, every time I have watched at the Minihad we have had less subs than the opposition. On the evidence of the restart so far, we'll be losing another semi final against arsenal on Thursday, probably by a substantial margin.
I see they're allowed to name nine subs, and can use 5 (6 in the unlikely event it goes to extra time), can't see that helping either.
I know it was a champ team yesterday.
However in the general scheme, has the move to full time for all teams just nullified the gap in fitness and technique from clubs that were part time previously? That's why we're not seeing the results of old, and there is more of a chance to drop points.
Expecting nothing to be honest, we seem fairly impotent in the attacking part of the pitch.Womens fa cup semi final live on bbc2 later (7pm)
City v Arsenal
Expecting really hard game for the women !
