Hopefully the former rag coach has put people off signing for them.

It seems only three teams are arsed about giving their teams decent training and development facilities over ticking a box. It's no coincidence those teams will be ones constantly fighting for honours.
I don't know the facilities situation at Everton or West Ham, but I get the feeling both of those are treating it more seriously (though recent results haven't been good), and maybe Leicester will too, now they have been promoted, and yesterday will spur them on.

The more the merrier.

I want the sport to take off and the more clubs that give fucks about development of the game the better.

Now is the best time to take stock of the women’s team.
IMO they finished higher than their football deserved but a runners up slot in the league is not to be down played.
However, now is the time for city to decide if they want the women’s team to get better or just stagnate as a better than average side.
City should start with Management. City need to engage an established, passionate Manager who can motivate some good and some average players. A manager who is positive about playing forward (and not continually pass backwards) and who can improve each and every one of the squad. The present incumbent is not that person and if he stays City will continue to be a “nearly” team (That may be what City actually want)
The squad needs some high profile, exiting new players to replace those that have left, particularly Mewis.
City need new, tough blood as we are mostly second best at tackles and often get muscled out of games AND City need someone to put the ball into the net more regularly than White and co. Our conversion rate is very poor.
If we grasp the metal we can look forward to next season if we don’t we will continue to be there or there about but NOT at the top.
Stagnate or improve, that is the question.

City, Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Brighton, Everton, Birmingham and Spurs women's teams are at the main training grounds of ther respective clubs' men's teams. Also, Leicester women, who've just come up are also at the main training grounds.

That said, the United and Liverpool womens' teams are not at the main training facilities. Looks quite like their women's teams are just there to shut people up and the clubs couldn't care less about them.

That would not surprise me.

Tad harsh - they play well and fight till the end, we beat Barcelona, who hammered Chelsea, at ours, that said Chelsea have been amazing this season on that form it's difficult to see how anyone could have topped them. Hayes is a top, top manager and this is Taylors first season. I thought Mewes started off on fire but latterly her influence, particularly in the big one v Chelsea, was negligible and Lavelle never got going at all, definitely no better than average. I don't totally disagree with you but,Taylor is worth another shot next season.
