Made hardwork of that and again looked like a shadow of the team from last season, even with the new "superstar" signing. But we definitely deserved it . Also funny that the commentary team we talking about our "strong squad of international stars" and Everton with their "squad of academy players" , yet the City's second (and match winning goal in reality) was made and scored by two girl that came though City's academy !
Still doesn't sound the same as making look like we've "bought" it !

Watched the game on BT as soon as I saw Pearce commentating and the unbiased panel of summarisers on the BBC.
Pleasantly surprised by the mainly fair and considered commentary and expert punditry,spoke more about the money that Everton had spent,and a couple of digs at Liverpool for deserting their women's team.No doubt they are being sacked as I type
