BBC all over this the famous comeback, unbelievable glad I don't give 1 penny to the coonts.
Just read this report, our goals "defensive mistakes" and theirs "great finishes"
So Lucy Bronze loose pass not a "defensive mistake" then ?
If you take away the names the facts are, the team at top of the league draw 2:2 at home with a team that mid table, with the match stats showing they had less shots (maybe they had more on target) and less procession !
When you look at it another way , utd failed to beat a team that couldn't beat Reading or Brighton this season.
End of the day , this match could of been over after 45mins , so maybe a new headline could be "Poor finishing and defensive mistakes costed City 3 points" !

Should have been over at half time. Chances good enough to make it 4 or 5. Take them and they would have shit the bed and this would have been a cricket score. Stanway mainly guilty messing 3 chances up but two other very good chances went begging as well.
I thought Utd were piss poor for an alleged top of the table side. Chelsea will bum them I reckon. If that shower win the league us Chelsea and Arsenal should pack it in.

Yesterday I was critical of the role that Keira Walsh is given in the team. Would she not be more suited to the role that Ji plays for Chelsea whereby tackling is not the priority, but playing the killer ball is, and her skills come into play. To me it is like asking David Silva to protect the back four.

Should have been 5 or 6 to be honest, easily the best this team has played together, united were always going to improve, but we started rushing passes, and giving it away needlessly (again down to the individuals), and Sam Mewis who ran the first half, wasn't as good in the second half, but even then we had good chances, and gifted them a goal, what was that pass about ?

It's very easy to blame Taylor, but individuals cost us 2 points today for me, the play in the first half was excellent, but it wasn't rewarded as it should have been.
That's been symptomatic of nigh on too many games over the last couple of seasons - men, women 'n kids.

I think Walsh is great, but the last couple of games she been anonymous. Think I heard her name once today , I don't know what's happening with her, but she seems to of gone backwards big time this season. But a lot of players seen shadows of themselves so far this season. The Americans haven't shown much (Mewis as shown moment's but really need to do it for the 90), Lucy Bronze also hasn't impressed much either when she's started .
I've been saying Walsh needs a second pivot besides her able to cover the defence and link to the attack, like Fern and Rodri/ Gundo do.

Unfortunately the mid get abandoned and Walsh is in the thick of it when it comes to transition from the oppo. The game tends to pass her by.

Mewis is box to box, really, but I would prefer her to run from our third to their box rather than from our box to theirs. She's the ball carrier, a Yaya in that sense. Her game play needs direction and she needs runners for the outlet.

Stoney just made the game simpler with the introduction of Hansen. They got closer to us in midfield rather than just relying on a forward press. Sometimes tactics get in the way of a good performance.

We don’t have the type of marauding or very fast forward that gives us the option of occasionally bypassing. Midfield.
Well, let's be fair the "very fast forward" has been tried in Stanway, but she's extremely poor in her decision making of when to pass or shoot.

We'd be out of sight if she was less scattered in her thinking.

I would try Park up front, myself to sub off White.
