My daughter has been using these on her lap top on the month free trial. Is there a free version to download or these only available to subscription buy.

Subscription only. The only free software is Open Office which we used in Tanzania and the students liked.

Kingsoft Office is free on PC and android platforms and IIRC is compatible with Microsoft products
