i know its really early but with the sun showing its jolly face it has got me extremely excited about the world cup. i love it! i love the way the whole nation comes together to support the team, flags hanging out of windows and cars and everyone sat in beer gardens with england shirts on. everyone hoping that one day it will be our year (although if we won it the magic may disappear). so yeah soon it will be time to get my st georges cross out, get my world cup wall chart on the wall and put the football anthems cd on. arghhhh cant wait. is it just me?

It's not just you mate. I too can't wait for the world cup, and love it for all the reasons that you have just stated, and funnily enough have thought would it be as exciting if I had seen England win the thing ( i wouldn't mind finding out though). City always comes before England apart from when the world cup is on (or the Euros), when the blue flag goes in the drawer and the St. Georges Cross comes out.

Remember though England is every two summers City is for life.
