World Cup and the impact on the squad

It isn’t 35c.

Top temperatures will be around 28c for some afternoon games and 25c for evening games with little humidity.

Playing conditions are generally comfortable for european players and the climate has not been used an excuse by any teams.

Many clubs go to the Gulf Countries in winter for warm weather training because it’s can be so beneficial.

The blistering winter heat & migrant worker exploitation is BOLLOCKS perpetuated by a racists, ignorant media.

But remember.....theses Arabs can’t be trusted to tell the truth.

Remember what the Sun, Star, Mail, Guardian etc say !!

As much as we all want the best for City, I also sense some naivety, as everyone assumes that these players will just return to Manchester as though losing in the World Cup was just a minor inconvenience.

There is a reason that Brazil and Argentina boast the most emotionally invested supporters in Qatar. This tournament is their one opportunity at showcasing the qualities of South America and ultimately proving themselves to be World Champions.

Club v Country isn't even a debate.

Alvarez is the only threat of over-play. which will do him good for game time going into the 2nd half of season. Erling will be mad to get off the starters blocks and add to his glorious season thus far. either way, we re still good mate.

My point was more aimed at the mental state of Bernardo, Alvarez or Rodri, and this mythical idea that once they've been knocked out of the tournament, they'll just shrug their shoulders, and "Get on with it"

They all did okay last time after the world cup, bar the guy who won it.

Is anyone doing the list of the players we have back? Should be a pinned thread. Gundogan so far. Anyone else?
