A great song by a fellow Canadian! But in actuality, this isn't the OFFICIAL world cup song, it's coca-cola world cup song. The official one is by shakira. *shutters*

Remember when the world cup was not only shameless marketing cash-grab, but a thing of art? Seems like the more I see of these Z-list celebrities and awful songs being produced, the more it takes away from the beauty on the pitch. Anyone remember this?

I'll vote for you as mayor, Bobby. Where do I put the X. Pavorotti's aria for the world cup has been the only time where music matched the emotion of the game. It'll be another two hundred world cups before we get a match for Italia 90 (Was 90 wasn't it?) Think I might miss that one!
