World Cup every TWO years

I think 2 years is fine if u get rid of Copa and Euros. For example if Italy misses the qualification, they won't have been in World Cup for 8 years.

But there is probably a war coming UEFA vs FIFA
2 years is workable if you ditch the continental tournaments but it is far from fine. It will be an endless cycle of qualifying for a World Cup or building up to a tournament. That's without considering what month of the year it's in, 2022 won't be the last tournament to break up the domestic season under these proposals.
In theory you could win the World Cup in a summer tournament go straight into qualification and be defending within 18 months somewhere in the middle east. Fuck that shit.

They're still trying to flog this shite and recent reports have suggested they're getting closer.

Trying to burn the players and the fans out.

So in the space of 4 years, there's 2 x World Cup qualifying, 2 x World Cups, 1 x Euros qualifying, 1 x Euros/Copa America, 2 x Nations League (South America rumoured to be joining). Not even included club football.

Wenger and Infantino can fuck off.

Hope the top league's, clubs and players tell them to fuck off. Clubs pay the players wages!

Wenger has never done anything in his life that wasn't totally driven by money. He was the highest paid manager in the world at Arsenal (while his fans were being fleeced) then he retired. But he couldn't let go. He is worse than that greedy bastard Harry Redknapp. He is the man who invented the phrase "financial doping" before he got his gig with Qatar. Nothing he says has any value.

So this story appeared yesterday:

Biennial World Cup: Fifa plans would 'generate extra £3.3bn'

An extra £3.3bn for who? It's very easy to make lots of money with other people's assets. And that's only up from £5.3bn, so they've somehow managed to not even double the money made, while doubling the costs, which proves that you get diminishing returns from something like this.

I am rapidly moving from being indifferent to international football to actively hating it.
All it does is fuck up proper football, and yet they are constantly trying to expand it. Players will end up never getting a proper rest in their whole career.

If they get rid of the shit Nations League thing and have a different qualification route then it might be okay and mean less international breaks. The confederation tournaments (Euros, AFCON etc) should be the qualifiers for the World Cup. If Europe have eg 8 places then any team that gets to the quarter finals of the Euros qualifies for the World Cup. If they get eg 12 then they need to do some knockout matches to get the additional 4. Each confederation does their own thing. We only need qualification groups for the confederation tournaments then and in Europe they need to re-consider these pointless qualifiers like San Marino, Gibraltar etc. Just give them a minnows tournament.
