The clowns at FIFA have put a proposal forward to have the World Cup every two years - what next.
Cancel all domestic and continental leagues and just have a WORLD league.
Not surprising that UEFA are opposed to the suggestion - how would they schedule their European tournaments?

First they want everyone to qualify, now they want it every two years?

Why not just create WORLD LEAGUES, and have relegation and promotion from the different Federations, where you play each team in your League (home or away being determined before the draw, hence falling to the luck of the draw).

It’d be like a 1 legged Champions League Group, with Top 4 playing a SF type playoff (1 at home to 4, 2 at home to 3, or even both games played at Final venue, like Championship Playoffs at Wembley) with the Final being played in a national stadium selected before the tournament even starts, but rotated amongst the Federations.

This is like the modern school sports day where nobody is allowed to finish last and everyone gets a particupation medal. Lets have more qualifiers too say every month and a mid winter mini tourny in January to rake more cash in for FIFA

Likely it would rescheduled so it would be every other year; WC 2026, EC 2027, WC 2028, EC 2029 etc.

International football tournament every summer, woo...
