The UK public transport system is the most expensive in Europe.
You only need to read the thread about Metrolink to the Etihad thread to realise how fucked up the UK system is.

Let’s not detract from the purpose of this thread, but to base your opinion on pricing and a thread on Bluemoon is hardly a great example of your understanding of the public transport system.

I can reference multiple well written articles comparing public transport in different countries and not one will show the US being superior to the UK, here’s a couple to help explain;

And yes, I agree, the UK public transport system is nothing to rave about, but the US is worse when considering what the transport system delivers to the public, on average, around the country.
