Worst big name actors.

Denzel Washington

Always the same, mumbling his way through a film
He is always the same!

His lines and action might be different from being a good guy or his role in Training Day, but he has the same acting demeanour and delivery of lines all the time.

Alan Pacino, outside of the first two Godfather movies before he started overactiing.

Adam Sandler. A painfully unfunny "funny guy". The phrase "stealing a living" comes to mind.

Whilst I agree, I think we all get fed up of comedy actors because a comedy film can be shot in a few weeks. We simply see too much of them. Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler et al are simply overexposed.

Brad Pitt. Hes a good character actor, but give him something normal, dramatic, and hes left wanting. For example, in Oceans 11 he lacks the charm and charisma of Clooney.

He was terrific in Meet Joe Black and I enjoyed his performance in Fight Club too. I liked his gypsy fighter in the Guy Ritchie film which I’ve forgotten the name of.

I still "don't get" Michael Caine

Honourable mentions also go to Richard Gere and Sarah Lancashire, for simply staring into the middle distance, trying to look enigmatic, in whichever role they're playing
I love Blue Moon!
We've gone from Richard Gere, Tom Hanks and Sean Connery to Sarah Lancashire in 5 posts!

Think it's unfair to expect most action film stars to be Oscar winning actors. They are what they are and in most cases are very successful in what they do.
