Has my memory gone or did we have something like a kashashkavilli play for us who wasn’t up to much?Gerry Creaney is the first that springs to mind.
There has been worse but the fact we swapped Paul Walsh + a big sum of money (at the time) for that lump, just had me staring at with disbelief, shaking my head every time I saw him. Portsmouth are probably still chuckling about that deal.
He was a Geoegian player, a mate of Gio, who once scored against UtdHas my memory gone or did we have something like a kashashkavilli play for us who wasn’t up to much?
Think I saw him notch at Crystal Palace but I could be wrongHas my memory gone or did we have something like a kashashkavilli play for us who wasn’t up to much?
I used to play with Rae and he was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch when we played, maybe not City level (even back then) but I can't agree due to the personal connection.
I would say David Brighwell for me or Fitzroy Simpson
Injury prone but not a bad playerBojinov
Unfair. He was badly injured in one of his first matches for us v Scum, never same again, in my opinion, would have been a big hitBojinov
I was doing my work experience from school at a music shop and him and his missus came in and I instantly recognised him and asked for his autograph. He bought Earth Wind And Fire Greatest Hits.He was a Geoegian player, a mate of Gio, who once scored against Utd
That's mad you said that. I was literally going mention our Georgian contingent on the end of my comment. You must have read my mind,Has my memory gone or did we have something like a kashashkavilli play for us who wasn’t up to much?
No, he was shite, you're right.thought I may be a tad harsh when selecting Eike Immel, I seem to recall he was fucking wank, but before proposing him I thought I would check Wikipedia, well he holds the record for the most goals conceded by a keeper in the Bundesliga 829 in 534 games so maybe I was on to something.
Keeper? Look at some of the posts above?- Jo tops it purely for the fee
- David Brightwell
- I actually want to name a keeper for the 3rd. I am torn between Andy Dibble or a very young Kasper Schmeichel.

Kavalashvili. We signed him on Kinkladze's recommendation that he was a better player than he was. He scored on his debut against united but didn't do much after that.
However, in addition to Kavalashvili, we bought 2 or 3 other Giorgians on the back of Kinkladze being Giorgian. I can't remember their names but they were probably Kinkladze's cousins or mates.
He did a mighty fine stamp on Fake Ronaldo though.I couldn't stand Michael Ball
