As a counter to the best money thread thought would be more fitting with this place if we had a worse money spent thread. This is anything you’ve not had value for money on, a chance to rant about companies whose products are substandard or whatever grinds your gears.

I ordered two new bathrooms from VictoriaPlum for about £5k which turned up with duplicates of some bits and other bits missing. Once the order is delivered they really start mithering you to leave a review…that should have been my warning as you’re only really reviewing the sales process and delivery not the product. Products that had 5+ year guarantees started failing in a couple of months, replaced, failed again. I ended up buying bits from B&Q that were a fifth the price to replace them and they still going strong 3 years later…cabinets start falling apart within the year, replaced no questions asked and start to fail again. Really they both need ripping out and replacing now. Cheap nasty shit that is anything but cheap. Looks nice on the website and when first in mind.

Also anything from next, over priced tat.

I bought a Court Cupboard in Arighis Macclesfield for around £4700.
A couple of weeks later I saw exactly the same model in a second hand shop in Bispham for £350ono.
