not by a long way ..
I was there today

1-8 v Boro last year ?
Defeats at home to Stockport, York , Wycombe and Bury as recently as 98 ?

It was poor - but not the worst. We had quite a few chances that on another day would have gone in and burst their balloon .
We were without our 3 best players this season , Robinho / Ireland / SWP (most of game) and are clearly suffering from some players who dont believe they will be here / or will lose their places soon (Ball / Hart / Richards / Jo / Gelson etc
Not trying to defend the result / performance , but in 12 months we will be looking back at this period as the painful turning curve.
I have gone from being 100% behind Hughes to 60% , as surely even basic organisation and motivation should enable us to beat Forest / BBurn / WBA etc , but I do believe that Hughes knows where the problems are (mostly attitudinal) and is getting his first real chance to fix it. He can't use the (someone else's squad) line too much as time goes by, but I for one will judge him this time next year (assuming he is still here)
