That is one of the most commonly known bits of info in football.
JM has bemoaned the fact, the RM board have reiterated the fact, publicly and all the Spanish press report it as fact.

I'm pretty sure Ade would be happy to go to Real Madrid. However, I doubt City would loan him out, we've loaned out enough strikers in recent times and we've got the problem of what to do with him when he comes back. Also, his wages, I doubt RM would pay all his wages, and City showed in the Robinho loan deal that they aren't willing to pay big wages on loaned out players, so, that would be another stumbling block.
