We now have a team which stars Aguero,Silva,Yaya and we've managed to outbid the rags and others.

I remember the shock of Robinho,and then the amazement as we were being linked with Kaka.

However I think we are now used to it.If Messi had a row with Barca tomorrow,or Ronaldo with Real,we'd be the first club linked I'm sure.

So my question is,would any transfer genuinely surprise you?Not the events leading up to it,but more a "wow I cant believe we just signed *****?"

Rooney would be the biggest surprise. Even in all the rumors last year I never believed he would come. His life wouldn't be worth living in Manchester. His life and his family's lives would be in danger. He would have to move outside the area and travel with police escort to and from Manchester every day. He would have to be under 24 hour security.
