Would you appoint another Premier League manager at City?

I'm being purely hypothetical here because there's not a chance I want Pellegrini to be replaced but Tottenham's recent appointment of Pochettino has got me thinking. Liverpool took Rodgers from Swansea and Everton took Martinez from Wigan. Overseas appointments at Cardiff, Fulham and West Brom didn't work whilst a Premier League manager did work at Crystal Palace. Is there ANYONE worth looking at from inside the Premier League if we suddenly did want a new manager? I am pleased to see the hardworking managers in this country getting a shot when the earlier trend was an overseas appointment. I'd like to see Martinez with a good budget (some managers are useless with money) but I'm struggling to think of a plausible name. Mourinho is an arse and Wenger is too stubborn for his own good.

Just for fun, innit.

Martinez, and I honestly think one day he will do a stint with us if these 3/5 year management cycles are going to be enforced (providing he doesn't end up at the rags first).

I'm questioning your location, didn't he used to be a poster on here ??

He did. Danny lost his fight 18 months ago: http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=271303

I drank pre-match with him for the best part of 3 years. An absolute diamond of a human being and sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

I would spend our entire transfer budget on Roberto Martinez if it meant he'd come.

Wouldn't mind Mourinho either.

Sam alladyce for his forward thinking football, the Spaniards haven't caught up to his technical genius yet

I'd rather suck a tramps arse than see that man anywhere near our club.

Martinez is the only one out of the current managers that I would have at City out of all the other teams. I think he fits the teams philosophy well and usually has his side playing good football.
