I would be shocked if Archie Gray were to leave England, especially to a team like Madrid who are so stocked full of young talent. No avenue at all to serious playing time for the lad, just look at what happened to the Turkish kid Arda Guler.

I agree he is a proper talent, wouldn't mind at all if we were in for him this summer. Maybe a Kalvin Phillips / Archie Gray swap and we splash some cash to sweeten the deal? Definitely something I'd look into if I were Txiki.

Gray would be an understandable purchase as he could play in multiple positions. He has the height to play fullback but also has the technique and aggression to play in midfield. Given that he's still so young, he has some filling out to do, but he already looks and plays a little like Rice.

All are good players. 1 with experience and 3 that have great potential.

But I don’t think it’s what we need.

If we were to sign Branthwaite as suggested we’d be interested I don’t see us signing a RB unless Walker goes. Just more minutes for Akanji on the right.

Kimmich would be our experienced midfielder option because he can play multiple positions.

Up until CFG created the best scouting network in the world, Football Manager were thought to have the best scouting team out there that clubs actually bought information from.

I’ve no doubts about it. Technology has made things extremely easy to get information on all sorts of players, stats, positions etc.
It’s those who then pass it off as their own research and pretend they know the inside and outside of every league in Europe who piss me off.
