Would you donate an old city shirt for a kid in Zimbabwe?

I don’t know how many Junior or Kid size City shirts are sold every year. But I know one thing: They don’ last! Kids tend to grow and new seasons come and go with new shirts released. Some are probably inherited by younger siblings or relatives but I’m pretty sure a LOT of shirts are kept in some drawer or packed away and never used.

I will be spending this Christmas in a small village called Dopota in Zimbabwe. A friend of my wife run a small non-profit humanitarian organisation in Norway called Sabona. Sabona have sponsorship programs in Matabeleland North Province in Zimbabwe and Dopota is one of the villages they sponsor.

I would love to bring city shirts for as many kids as possible when I go there! They don’t have much so I’m pretty sure a city shirt would be a very nice Christmas present.

But I need help! There are not that many shirts around in Norway but there are for sure plenty in the UK.

If you want to help out please let me know. Any shirt is appreciated, old, used, personalized, new, kid sizes, adult size or other city clothes :-)

I have created a blog at sabonacity.wordpress.com , and a twitter (@sabonacity) and instagram (@sabonacity) account for this purpose, so please spread the word!

I live in Norway so the shirts would have to be sent to me there.. If that turns out to be a big stumbling block I'll have to look at other options. PM me anyway and we'll sort it out!
